Due to the Canada Post strike, the Town of Blackfalds is unable to mail utility bills, notices, or other important information to customers. We also will not be receiving mail from residents.
Here are things you need to know for utilities ➡️ If you need a copy of your utility bill, we can print yours at the front desk! ➡️ Late penalties will still be in effect. ➡️ Sign up for e-billing! Have your bills sent to your email by sending a message to utilities@blackfalds.ca ➡️ Mail directed to the Town of Blackfalds can be dropped off at the Civic Centre during office hours, or via the drop box at the front doors. ➡️ Payments can be made in person, over the phone via credit card, at the drop box via cheque, and online through your financial institution.

Planning & Development Update: We cannot mail notifications about development and subdivision applications, decisions, or other required notices to registered landowners if their tax roll lists a PO Box or an address outside of the town.
If your tax roll includes a PO Box or an out-of-town address, please regularly check the "Town Notices" section on the Town of Blackfalds website (www.blackfalds.ca) for updates on planning and development proposals that may affect your property.
For those with a civic address within the Town of Blackfalds, notices will be hand-delivered to your mailbox.
