Chairs for Charity

Inspired by our neighbours to the north, we would like to announce that we are organizing the very first Chairs for Charity Blackfalds!

We'd like to thank Nowco Home Hardware in Lacombe for providing their resources and expertise to make this year run as smooth as possible!

What is it?

Any participating business or organization will paint/customize an Adirondack chair and sell raffle tickets.

The chairs will be promoted and displayed at the businesses through the month of June and during Blackfalds Days so individuals can purchase raffle tickets for the chair that they desire!

At the end of the event, the raffle tickets and money will be collected, a name will be drawn for each chair, and 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to a local charity.

Deadline for payment/registration is March 15! 

Dates to Remember

June 1 - 30: Businesses will showcase their finished chairs!
June 10: Raffle tickets go on sale
June 30: Raffle ticket sales end.
July 11: Raffle draws!
