Volunteering for Town events and programs is a dynamic way to get involved, contribute to the community, develop new skills, and meet new friends.

As part of the volunteer recruitment process, we require a Volunteer Application Form from each volunteer and a Criminal Record Check (for volunteers 18 years of age and older) be conducted as part of the screening process. Volunteers are required to reaffirm their interest in volunteering for events every 24 months.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer? Join the Town of Blackfalds Blood Drive Campaign from July 15 – August 31!

Donating blood is one of the most impactful ways to help others. In about an hour, you can provide hope and support to patients undergoing surgery, receiving cancer treatments, recovering from accidents, and facing other medical challenges. Whether you're a first-time donor or a regular supporter, your contribution makes a difference. Together, let's show the generosity of the Blackfalds community and help ensure lifesaving blood products are available for those who need them most.

Blackfalds Days 2026 was a wonderful celebration of community, and none of it would have been possible without the dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity of our volunteers. Whether you helped behind the scenes, greeted guests, supervised activities, or supported event logistics, your contributions helped make the weekend a success.
