Council Communication & Engagement Committee

The purpose of the Communications and Engagement Committee is to act as Advisory Committee to strengthen transparent, accessible, and proactive communication between the Municipality, Council and residents. The Committee will lead the development of a comprehensive Communications Policy for Council consideration. Review the annual Budget Survey, design, timing, methodology, and reporting to improve clarity, representativeness, and usefulness to Council decision-making. Provide advice and oversight on resident engagement activities, including tools, channels, calendars and key messages.
